Elizabeth Hubbard, the seventeen year-old great-niece of Dr. William Griggs (who first pronounced the afflicted girls "under an Evil Hand"), was one of the four original girls (along with Betty Parris, Abigail Williams, and Ann Putnam) to make witchcraft accusations. She lived with the Griggses as their servant, and stood by her claims throughout 1692.
